Job Summary: Are you a newly passed Class 2 driver with at least 6 months of experience? Struggling to find an opportunity? We have the perfect role for you! Our client is looking for motivated 7.5t / Class 2 Drivers to join their home delivery team. This position offers immediate starts and is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to gain experience and advance their careers. You will be delivering white goods such as washing machines and dishwashers to residential customers, working as part of a 2-person delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver white goods to customers' homes.
- Complete approximately 30 deliveries per day, adhering to scheduled routes and timelines.
- Assist with wet installations as required, under the guidance of a trained driver.
- Work as part of a 2-person team, assisting with lifting, carrying, and installing heavy items.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring all deliveries are handled professionally.
- Start work at 06:00 AM, Monday to Saturday, with shifts lasting 11-12 hours per day.
- Uphold safety and operational standards during deliveries.
- Undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process and complete an online induction prior to starting.
- Valid 7.5t or Class 2 driving license with at least 6 months of driving experience.
- Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of delivering heavy goods.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with early morning starts and long shifts.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must pass a DBS check and complete an online induction.
- Competitive pay rate of 14.01 per hour (holiday pay included).
- 150 monthly bonus.
