CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY - EARLY STARTS

£15.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a well-established client based in Bolton.

You will be working as part of a two-person team delivering furniture to a customer's homes.

Due to the nature of the job you will have to be physically fit as heavy lifting is required

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Complete up to 20 home deliveries per shift
• Work as part of a two-person team
• Handball stock into customer's property
• Provide excellent customer service
• Multi-drop deliveries
• Ensure vehicle is well presented
• Comply with driving rules and regulations
• Be prepared for various shift lengths

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence and have held this for a minimum of six months
• Hold a valid UK CPC Card
• Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have at least six months experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes
• Positive 'Can Do' attitude
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills as you will be required to call costumers before arriving

Desirable Experience

• Experience making home deliveries as part of a two-person team is desirable

Training

• Drivers will be required to take a written and practical driving assessment to be successful for this role
