The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bolton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team on days or nights.
Hours: Days or Nights, 5 out of 7 shifts a week across Monday to Sunday (weekends included)
Pay Rate: Days - 拢14.30 per hour PAYE / Nights - 拢15.58 per hour PAYE
Location: Bolton, BL5
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
路 Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
路 Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
路 Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
路 Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
路 Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
路 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
Minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience.
路 No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
路 Full understanding of WTD legislation.
路 Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
路 Excellent communication skills.
路 A safety-first mindset.
