Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Driver/Equipment Installer to join Bolton Council's Community Equipment Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on a shift basis.
The Role:
- Safely deliver and install disability equipment in homes and establishments.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure safe loading and transportation.
- Collect and inspect equipment no longer required.
- Conduct PAT testing on electrical adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with equipment decontamination and maintenance.
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting.
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
