Driver/Fitter

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Driver/Equipment Installer to join Bolton Council's Community Equipment Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on a shift basis.

The Role:

• Safely deliver and install disability equipment in homes and establishments.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure safe loading and transportation.
• Collect and inspect equipment no longer required.
• Conduct PAT testing on electrical adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with equipment decontamination and maintenance.

Requirements:

• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
