Job Title: Product Cyber Security Offer

Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Bolton (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

Join a growing team that is the national central point of contact for all matters relating to Product Cyber Security. You'll liaise with the appropriate government agencies to advise and monitor project cyber security architectures and implementations. You'll also build and handle MBDA's relationships with its customers, key suppliers and academic bodies in this domain, drawing on support from various functions across the business.

Using your influencing and persuasion skills you'll monitor project's approaches to cyber security issues, making sure we adhere to both our internal policy and MoD policy. By providing advice and support to the engineering and operations teams on subjects as broad as manufacturing tools, test equipment and supply chain, you'll help them achieve an efficient security solution.

What we're looking for from you:
  • Ability to identify and assess risks, with regard to varying complexity of systems and operational environments.
  • Experience of implementation of Cyber security controls commensurate with identified operational risk for complex defence environments.
  • Experience of identifying and assessing risk throughout the lifecycle of a system including development, trials, manufacture, use, maintenance and disposal.
  • Experience of providing appropriate advice regarding options for mitigating identified risks whilst maintaining business focus and operational capability.
  • Knowledge of national security requirements for systems processing UK government data.
  • Broad knowledge of security architectures that meet national security accreditation requirements including Secure by Design.
  • Ability to resolve security solutions to complex problems and provide clear advice directly to key partners at all levels.
  • Either CISSP, CISM, CISA or shown experience.
