Business Development Manager (SSAS)

Reed Financial Services is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager with a robust background in financial services. The successful candidate will spearhead our sales efforts, focusing on the delivery of DC & DB SSAS services. This role is pivotal in achieving revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and execute SSAS sales strategies to achieve financial goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK market
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with intermediary partners, clients, and stakeholders
  • Tailor solutions to client needs, including liaising with Tax and Law colleagues
  • Analyse sales performance metrics and KPIs to monitor success
  • Uphold sales processes and best practices in collaboration with the New Business Team
  • Generate reports on sales performance and market trends
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical development, and SSAS administration teams
  • Engage in product development and marketing strategy discussions
  • Deliver presentations at various events and meetings, adhering to company best practices
  • Contribute to PR and marketing programmes with written content for various platforms
  • Act as a strong brand ambassador for the company

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of sales experience within the financial services sector
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Expertise in member-directed pension arrangements – SIPP & SSAS
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Customer-centric with a keen business sense
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
