We are accepting applications for a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer in the North West of England. Our Client is a well-known Water / Legionella outfit, who are also privately owned and growing rapidly. The role offers a great variation of daily duties for the successful candidate, so this would suit a candidate who has well-rounded hands-on experience. Access to the M62 would be ideal for travel to Client sites. Salaries are competitive and comes with a great benefits package.
You will ideally be located in / around: Bolton, Bury, Heywood, Rochdale, Oldham, Prestwich, Stockport, Wythenshawe, Urmston, Wilmslow, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Liverpool, St Helens, Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Southport, Wigan, Chorley, Leigh, Halifax, Huddersfield, Mirfield, Brighouse, Bradford, Leeds, Morley, Wakefield.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience working as both a Legionella Risk Assessor & Water Hygiene Engineer
- Must hold the WMSoc or City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessing qualification
- It would be beneficial to hold some basic level of remedial / plumbing experience
- A strong understanding of ACOP L8 guidelines
- Ideally will have experience working across a mixed portfolio of Client sites, including: Commercial, High Security and Public Sector
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems
- Showerhead Descales
- TMV Servicing
- Calorifier Inspections
- Some basic remedial duties, such as deadleg removals
- Writing detailed risk assessment reports and generating schematic drawings
- Travelling as per company requirements
