Our client is a well-established and growing name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. They are seeking a well-rounded Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts in the North West of England. Candidates will ideally have a varied skillset in order to adapt to changing company requirements. Experience / Qualifications:
- You must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
- Ideally you will hold industry-related qualifications, such as: NVQ Plumbing and TMV Servicing
- Remedial / plumbing experience would be beneficial but not essential
- It would be preferred if candidates hold experience with process systems, such as Cooling Towers and Closed Systems
- Good written ability
- IT literate
- Flexible to travel as per company needs
The Role:
- You will be undertaking a wide range of ACOP L8 management duties across a mix of Commercial, Domestic and Local Authority sites
- Showerhead descales
- TMV inspections and servicing
- Cold water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
- Closed system sampling
- Flushing of little used outlets
- Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Completing routine service reports
- Representing the company in a professional manner whilst attending sites
