Our client is a leading name within Water Hygiene / Legionella, and they are seeking a hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer, who would be interested in further training into Legionella Risk Assessing. They are offering fantastic further training and modules to the successful candidate, but it would be beneficial if applicants hold some existing knowledge of legionella risk assessing. The company is a friendly outfit, who pride themselves on providing ethical and effective services to their customers. Salaries and packages are competitive and will reflect the applicant's experience.

The role involves travel around: Bolton, Bury, Heywood, Rochdale, Oldham, Hyde, Chorley, Blackburn, Burnley, Eccles, Stockport, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, St Helens, Prescot, Burnley, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Southport, Bootle, Liverpool, Formby, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Chester, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company
- Good grasp of industry guidelines, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- It would be beneficial to have experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments and the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessment
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using IT applications
- Able to travel as required to a mix of commercial, local authority and public sector sites

The Role:
- Travelling to client sites to maintain compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines
- TMV inspections and servicing
- Showerhead disinfections
- Acid descales
- Flushing of little used outlets
- Inspections, cleans and disinfections on Cold Water Storage Tanks
- Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems
- Writing detailed written reports
- Representing the company in a positive manner when attending appointments
