Are you ready to take on a new challenge with a dynamic organisation? Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Roadworker to join their team for a temporary contract from January 20, 2025, to April 11, 2025. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and have a passion for maintaining our highways!
- Lead maintenance teams in performing minor highway and street lighting tasks, including drain laying, trenching, and kerbing.
- Operate specialist vehicles and heavy plant while conducting routine checks and maintenance. ??
- Direct the work of lower-graded operatives when senior staff are unavailable.
- Perform manual excavation and utilise CAT scans for identifying faults in highway infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation during all operations. ??
- Class 2 driving licence and groundwork experience.
- Preferred: Hiab experience and a basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to work at heights and supervise others safely. �??
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
