Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Roadworker to join their team for a temporary contract from January 20, 2025, to April 11, 2025. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and have a passion for maintaining our highways!

  • Lead maintenance teams in performing minor highway and street lighting tasks, including drain laying, trenching, and kerbing.
  • Operate specialist vehicles and heavy plant while conducting routine checks and maintenance. ??
  • Direct the work of lower-graded operatives when senior staff are unavailable.
  • Perform manual excavation and utilise CAT scans for identifying faults in highway infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation during all operations. ??
  • Class 2 driving licence and groundwork experience.

- Preferred: Hiab experience and a basic understanding of electrical systems.

  • Ability to work at heights and supervise others safely. �??
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
