Knightsbridge is one of the UK’s leading business sales brokers, offering a comprehensive, nationwide service to business owners who are selling their business. We are part of the K3 Capital Group (recently acquired by the U.S. PE firm Sun Capital). With an HQ based in Bolton, our business is growing and we are now seeking a Deal Closer to join our busy team!

Our Deal Closer or (Client Managers as we call them internally) play a vital role in sales process, and the work you will carry out in this position is pivotal to our success.  Whilst we aren't looking for someone who has done this before, what we do seek are people with energy, who can work at pace, with the highest levels of professionalism and customer service (to both our Client's and our internal partners).

 

As a Deal Closer you will be responsible for:

 

  • Speaking and building relationships with Clients (small business owners) we have recently had a meeting with (warm leads) with the ultimate objective of closing the deal and securing the instruction to sell their business
  • Contract and fee negotiation
  • Giving advice and guidance on the business sale process in a discrete and empathetic way
  • Keeping Clients informed of any relevant completions in their sector
  • Liaising (by phone) with a team of Commercial Directors across the UK
  • Working from our corporate Head Office in Bolton

 

We operate in a niche sector, so we don't expect many applications with industry experience, all we ask is that you fit the following criteria -

 

  • Have brilliant communication and negotiation skills
  • Be working in or have significant experience in sales
  • Can build a great relationship with clients – managing who can be at times, very emotional, sensitive conversations, with tact and diplomacy
  • To be a strong closer – recognising ‘buying signals’
  • A proven track record of exceeding targets
  • To have the ability to manage your own time and diary
  • Strong literacy/numerical skills
  • To have bags of energy, drive, commitment
  • Organisational skills and the ability to self-manage

 

Benefits

 

  • We will reward you with a fantastic basic salary, and uncapped commission structure. Basic salary is determined by your level of experience but starts at £25k to £27k. On target earnings including bonus is £40k, however our commission structure is uncapped (Top earner £45k)

  • You’ll be working 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and we finish at 3pm on Fridays, no weekends or evenings!
