Overview:My client, a respected TV/Screen manufacturer renowned for exceptional customer service and a reliable 7-year warranty, is seeking an energetic Sales Development Representative. This role involves managing and expanding relationships with independent retailers throughout the North of the UK. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, foster retailer partnerships, and identify new business opportunities to boost the brand's regional presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Proactively target new independent retailers and relevant commercial enterprises to stock their branded TVs, aiming to achieve or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing retail partners, providing in-person and remote support, training, and product guidance.
  • Territory Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including high street shops and other suitable outlets across the North.
  • Product Presentation: Confidently demonstrate the benefits of their products, including the 7-year warranty and UK-based support, to retail partners.
  • Market Insights: Monitor the competitive landscape and report trends to influence company strategy and product offerings.
  • Travel: Regular travel across the Northern region for retailer site visits and trade show attendance, along with occasional office days for administrative tasks and team collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in consumer electronics, home appliances, or the TV sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Independent, self-managed work style with time management proficiency across a large territory.
  • Account management experience, including setting and achieving KPIs.
  • Valid UK driver’s license with a willingness to travel extensively.
  • Familiarity with retail environments and point-of-sale optimization.
