Are you an experienced Sales Advisor and would like to work for a very well established, successful and family run business? This is a face to face role where you will be serving customers. Ideally you will have worked within an engineering/technical environment. There is a salary of £24,000 plus a bonus scheme of around £4,000. A strong team working environment. You must hold a current driving licence.

The Role:

  • Actively sell (face to face and over the telephone) and promote their products
  • Serve customers politely and efficiently either at the counter, off site, on the telephone, providing professional and timely advice
  • Advise and take orders
  • Liaise with the workshop team as required.
  • Ensure all stock orders received are shelved at the earliest opportunity and are presented safely, tidily and in an attractive manner. Displays should be updated and maintained regularly to maximise customer interest.
  • Assist with stock takes as required.
  • Keep work area tidy and operate within the Health and Safety policy of the Company.

About You:

  • Process the daily cash paperwork and prepare banking including petty cash and maintain accurate filing systems.
  • Ensure cash/cheques banked on a daily basis.
  • Monitor stock movements and deliveries.
  • Raise invoices/credit notes accurately.
  • Ensure payment for goods is received accurately and/or credit approval obtained.
  • Report any discrepancies (monetary or otherwise) to the Store Manager immediately.
  • Perform any general admin duties as required.
