Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with setting and operating Mazak lathes and Fanuc controlled lathes, with knowledge of programming being beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and program as necessary.
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working order.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in setting and operating Mazak lathes and Fanuc controlled lathes.
- Knowledge of CNC programming is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Srong attention to detail and quality.
Day-to-Day
- Setting up CNC turning machines and loading materials.
- Operating machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure production goals are met.
Rate and Hours
- The rate for this position will be competitive and based on experience.
- This is a full-time position with standard working hours, with the potential for overtime during busy periods.
