We are currently looking to recruitan expereinced and confident Credit Controller for our client based on the outskirts of Bolton. This is an exciting time to join a succesfual and expanding company who really value their employees.

The Credit Controller will oversee all debts owed to a company from existing creditors and manage new requests for credit.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will work closely with all divisions of the comapny to deliver an accurate and efficient credit control service. This will require building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

Key responsibilities:

Your daily duties will include the following activities:

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with CreditSafe and Companies House filing history
  • Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
  • Chasing outstanding accounts via telephone and email - logging all calls
  • Negotiating re-payment plans
  • Resolving queries on accounts - issuing credits as required
  • Processing and reconciliation of invoices
  • Allocating payments received to accounts and preparing the daily banking
  • Preparation and issuing of monthly statements
