Dental Technician - Flasker

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flasker to join a reputable dental laboratory in Bolton that specializes in high-quality prosthetic restorations and cutting-edge digital dentistry solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the creation of top-tier dental prosthetics, including dentures, in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flasking & Investing: Prepare dental molds by placing wax patterns into flasks and investing with plaster or stone.
  • Boil-Out Process: Remove wax from invested molds to create cavities for the acrylic processing.
  • Acrylic Processing: Assist in mixing and packing acrylic into flasks for denture base fabrication.
  • Deflasking & Finishing: Open flasks, remove cured dentures, and ensure precision in the final products.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that flasking equipment and work areas are well-maintained and cleaned.
  • Quality Control: Inspect each piece for accuracy, ensuring the dentures meet laboratory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with denture technicians and the production team to meet daily targets and uphold high-quality standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dental laboratory or similar setting is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of flasking, investing, and acrylic processing techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a thorough understanding of technical procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
