About the RoleAs a Specialist Dietitian, you will work autonomously to:
- Perform therapeutic assessments and deliver tailored treatment programs.
- Manage a diverse caseload with complex physical and psychological conditions.
- Provide expert clinical advice, support, and training for colleagues and junior staff.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based interventions and innovative service improvements.
- Participate in research, audits, and quality governance activities to enhance service delivery.
You will be a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care, and have opportunities to lead within neuro-rehabilitation dietetics as required.
About You
They are looking for a motivated and compassionate professional with:
- Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics and HCPC registration. Evidence of postgraduate training in nutritional support is essential.
- Experience: A broad range of clinical expertise, including managing complex caseloads, problem-solving, and effective multidisciplinary teamwork. Previous community work and supervisory experience are advantageous.
- Skills: Advanced reasoning, excellent communication, and strong organizational abilities. You should be adept at managing emotional and distressing situations and working effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant conditions, NHS developments, and evidence-based practice.
