The school and role

At our primary school, we are looking for a enthusiastic and devoted Nursery Teacher to join our outstanding Early Years team on a part-time basis. This role will be for Thursdays and Fridays in our vibrant, nurturing Nursery setting, which is part of our inclusive Early Years provision, including a 2-Year-Old Provision and two Reception classes.

You will be part of team where change is promoted and growth is advocated and we celebrate being unique and ourselves.  

Requirements 

To be considered for the Nursery Teacher role, you will: 

  • Work together to plan, adapt and deliver creative, engaging activities tailored to the needs of our Nursery children.
  • Strengthen the children’s social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring they are confident and ready for their transition into Reception by the end of Nursery.
  • Foster an inclusive and inspiring learning environment where every child feels valued.
  • Work collaboratively with other Early Years staff to ensure consistency and excellence in our provision.
  • Prioritise Communication, language and speech development across all areas of learning.
