Nursery Teaching Assistant required for a Primary School in Bolton
Position: Nursery Teaching AssistantLocation: Bolton, Greater ManchesterContract Type: Full-time, Term Time OnlySalary: £425-500 per week (dependent on experience)Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team at a welcoming primary school in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping young learners thrive in their first steps of education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Assist in planning and preparing a stimulating learning environment.
- Provide 1:1 and group support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Support children with additional needs, adapting activities where necessary.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage a love of learning.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A caring and patient approach with excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
