About the Role:We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team at a welcoming primary school in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping young learners thrive in their first steps of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Assist in planning and preparing a stimulating learning environment.
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Support children with additional needs, adapting activities where necessary.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage a love of learning.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • A caring and patient approach with excellent communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
