Adecco property services specialist division North is delighted to be partnering with a reputable NW Housing provider in recruiting for an Electrical Surveyor to work on permanent basis.PurposeThe postholder will provide a range of professional advisory and technical services related to the electrical installations and maintenance to the organisation's assets, property, and land.Location: Bolton and surrounding areasDuties* Carry out surveys to the housing stock and produce schedules of work and layouts.* Develop and manage electrical programmes and projects in consultation with customers, tenant's associations, and other stakeholders.* Interpret contract procedures, such as Council Standing Orders, JCT forms of contract, Partnering, PPC 2000, building regulations, Health, and Safety at Work (COSHH) CDM.* Provide technical advice and information to customers regarding the project / planned programme of work.* Advise on the condition of electrical systems in properties* Provide information on the physical and financial progress of projects.* Produce statistical information to assist in forward planning and effective performance monitoring.* Undertake building and site surveys.* Produce contract drawings and documentation including schedules of work.* Prepare detailed estimates and cost analysis of tenders.* Determine and issues site instructions and variation orders.* Prepare contact valuations and certification.Candidate requirements* Qualifications: City & Guilds 2368 Electrical Installations Part 2 qualification or equivalent, City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition (certificate in the requirements for Electrical installations) and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.* Great knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to electrical installations, building regulations, construction design, management regulations, planning and health and safety.* Housing experience - to carry out surveys of the housing stock and produce schedules of work and layouts* IT literate and able to use CAD for contract drawings, valuations, estimates and documentation in required formats.* UK Driving licence and access to a car Salary and Benefits* £36,340 - £40,540 annual salary* 28 days annual leave increases to 33 with length of service plus bank holidays.* Pension: 4% employee 6% employer contribution* Flexible Working options* Amazing culture and development support* Discounts and an employee platform to use for vouchers and other benefits* Mileage pay - tbcPlease reach out to Cristina Baraganu at or send your CV across if you need more details or to book a conversation.
