Are you looking to progress your career in mechanical engineering with a company offering training, development and the opportunity to travel abroad?
In this role you will be working with experienced engineers and a design team on a variety of exciting projects based in both the UK and the Caribbean, focusing on both commercial buildings and entire resorts. You will be assisting in the production of designs and learning to work towards briefs within specific timelines and budgets.
This well established company, established in 2009, has worked on multi million pound projects in the UK and Caribbean, and are currently looking for a junior mechanical building services engineer to assist in the development of a major resort.
The Role:
- Collaborate with the design team to produce concepts and technically compliant, detailed designs
- Assist with site surveys, inspections, written reports and cost reviews
- Work with chartered engineers to produce detailed designs and specifications for engineering systems
- Ensure all designs are compliant and adhere to current government health and safety legislation
- Professional development through skills development and management experience
The Person:
- Design software experience (AutoCAD/Revit), Microsoft Office
- CIBSE accredited Honours Degree course
