Our client require multiple Production Test Engineer’s to join the team on a long-term contract. You are required to hold an active SC Clearance or be eligible to get one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in a team of engineers within a manufacturing environment, providing test engineering support to the shopfloor and supporting the introduction of new test equipment
- Testing and diagnosing complex electrical systems
- Generate test specifications, technical reports and operator instructions
- Supporting meetings with Quality and Operations to provide status updates on Test Engineering actions and investigations
Skills Required:
- HNC level engineering qualifications or equivalent
- Understanding of digital and analogue electronic measurement and test principles
- Experience with fault diagnosis techniques, with experience down to component level
- Awareness of electrical/electronic sub-system and system design, integration and test principles
Desirable:
- RF and Microwave technology at the subsystem level
- Experience in operating manual and automated test equipment in an Electronics Manufacturing environment
