Role Purpose: As an Electrical Estimator in the Mechanical Sector, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical components within mechanical projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that estimates align with project goals and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical components within mechanical projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities in project estimates.
  • Ensure estimates are competitive and align with project goals and budgets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during the bidding process.
  • Monitor and report on project costs and progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably within the mechanical sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, codes, standards, and regulations.
  • HND ( Higher National Diploma)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience in estimating for renewable energy projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced electrical systems and technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
  • Holds a current driving license.
