We are currently recruiting for an extremely rewarding maintenance role based in Greater Manchester. Working a 4 day week, with a great package and the flexibility to make it even better with the ability to work a 5th day as overtime, this role offers the reward and flexibility most maintenance engineers dream off. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Electrical Engineer to oversee, troubleshoot, and improve the mechanical and electrical systems in a heavy engineering manufacturing plant. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance, efficient production, and minimal downtime through technical expertise and proactive problem-solving.
This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems, especially within a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting. A practical problem-solver with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement will excel here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance.
- Maintain mechanical components and utilities, including conveyors and compressors.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance.
- Lead installation projects for new equipment and manage contractor oversight.
The company offer a very rewarding package which including a generous salary of upto 50,000, 24days holiday allowance (6 weeks), Company Sick Pay and standard company pension contribution - All for 4 days a week
