Role: Electrician - Streetlighting & EV Charging
Location: Manchester (Sites across the Northwest)

Our client - a leading multi-utility company - provides innovative solutions for residential, commercial and industrial developments. They are now seeking an experienced Electrician with expertise in Streetlighting to join their operational team. This role involves working on vehicle charging and street lighting contracts on new residential sites for the country’s leading developers in the Northwest area. if you're an experienced Electrician with 18th Edition certification, and have a background in working with street lighting contracts and installing EV chargers we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of lanterns on new columns
- Installation of feeder pillars and associated distribution systems within
- Installation of EV Chargers on domestic & Commercial premises
- Fault finding on SWA underground networks
- Cable pulls and private SWA jointing
- Testing & certification of works undertaken
- Periodic inspection & testing and rectification works
Skills and experience required:
- Experience of Street lighting contracts
- Completed electrical apprenticeship including 18th edition
- Ability to work at heights
- Experience of feeder pillar installations & EV Chargers
- Good communication and drawing reading skills
- Able to understand and implement Risk Assessments and method statements
- Flexible in working hours and to be available when needed (including some weekend work)
- Bonus - Class 2 Driving license
