The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team, working on large scale commercial projects across the UK. This role involves nationwide travel, and occasional overnight stays may be required (enhanced pay applies). You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings such as football grounds, offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

  • Carry out first-fix and second-fix electrical installations, including containment, wiring, and final connections.

  • Install and maintain lighting, power distribution, and emergency lighting systems.

  • Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.

  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Work closely with other trades to ensure smooth project completion.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a commerical electrician working on large-scale projects.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred but not essential).

  • CSCS or ECS card (preferred but not essential).

  • Ability to work from electrical drawings and technical schematics.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including three-phase power and containment.

  • Full UK driving licence
