Corporate Deal Executive

Due to the group’s continued success, we are looking for ambitious, enthusiastic people to join our team of Transaction Advisers at our modern head offices in Bolton.

About the Role

As one of our Corporate Finance Deal Executives your duties will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Regular communication with clients and potential acquirers
  • Negotiating offers and complex deals
  • Delivering an exceptional level of customer service
  • Researching and identifying potential acquirers
  • Building relationships with clients, trade acquirers, private equity investors and other professional advisers

This is a varied role, where no two days are the same, and is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven person looking to start or develop a career in mergers and acquisitions.

 The successful candidate will receive ongoing support and training from an experienced team of Deal Executives, Researchers and Directors.

 As a Transaction Adviser/ Deal Executive, you will be targeted on completed deals with uncapped commission paid throughout the year.

About You

A degree in a business, management, administration or finance related subjects is desirable, however, we will provide you with full training upon joining us.

We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and add to our established and dynamic team. Progression is possible within this role: handling bigger, more complex transactions and earning more commission.

Key skills required for the role are:

  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a deadline-orientated environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • IT literate – experience using basic Microsoft package essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
  • Love meeting new people and building long-lasting relationships

Experience:

  • Financial services and/ or an understanding of business and finance.
  • Customer service, long-term relationship building.
  • Full driving licence is preferable.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Commission
  • Team nights and incentives
  • Regular working hours – 8:30m – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
