Job Purpose

  • Manage an audit portfolio, leading audits from planning to completion
  • Work on various projects simultaneously, ensuring client expectations and deadlines are being met
  • Perform higher risk mandatory reviews and audit consultations, responding effectively to technical queries
  • Monitor developments in technical standards to ensure these are reflected in the workplan
  • Oversee and mentor junior audit team members by fostering a supportive and educational working environment
  • Work alongside other teams within the firm to offer a joined up, cohesive service
  • Support the firm’s business growth by maintaining relationships with key contacts and building a prospective network
  • Support Directors and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc projects where required
  • Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients
  • Represent the firm in meetings, forums and networking events
  • Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes in UK audit standards
  • Aid the development of junior staff by delivering training, reviewing work and providing mentorship
  • Review internal processes and providing recommendations to improve efficiencies across the Audit function
  • Set an example to the team as a hands-on Senior Manager
