Sennen Education are recruiting for a School Sports Mentor on behalf of a fantastic school in Farnworth. The school are looking for an active individual to support a child with challenging behaviour within the classroom during whole class sessions and one to one sessions. The role will entail using sports to support the child engaging with education.

As a sports mentor, you will have a positive mind-set and will have strong engagement abilities to support the development of the children. An ideal candidate will need to be able to build rapport with the children.

Job summary

  • Working under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, to provide support for pupils in class or one to one.
  • Assisting the teacher in the management/preparation of resources.
  • To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning
  • An ability to build strong, trusting relationships
