Our North Manchester-based company is expanding rapidly, and we need reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Duct Hygiene Operatives on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a hands-on job where you'll be well rewarded for putting in the effort. You'll be travelling to various locations, some local, some further a field to carry out maintenance and deep cleaning of catering ducting systems. Some jobs will require overnight stays, but all travel time is paid, hotels are covered in advance, and there's an additional £18 per night allowance.
What You'll Be Doing- Carrying out deep cleaning of kitchens, ducting systems, and extractors
- Working at heights (full training provided)
- Following TR19 guidelines to clean and inspect ducting
- Completing reports and attaching before-and-after photos
- Travelling across the UK, with some overnight stays when required
- A strong work ethic this role is for grafters, not clock-watchers
- A full UK driving licence (for driver roles)
- Based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, Bolton, or nearby
- Willing to work early mornings, afternoons, nights, and occasional weekends (paid at higher rates)
- Able to work away from home Monday to Thursday when required
- Able to pass a DBS check
- Basic computer skills to complete reports
- Competitive pay - £13.50 - £14 per hour for Drivers, £13.00 per hour for Driver's Mates, plus plenty of opportunities to earn more
- Company vehicle and fuel card provided for drivers
- Phone, laptop, and all necessary equipment provided
- Bonus and commission - extra payments for driving, overnight stays, correctly completed paperwork, team leading and more
- Lots of overtime available, with weekend and night rates paid at a premium
- Additional earnings through company-wide, attendance, loyalty, and performance-related bonuses
- Normal working hours Monday - Friday 08:45 - 15:00
