We are currently seeking a reliable Labourer with an FLT Licenceto join our busy manufacturing client based in the Bolton area.
*This role requires physical stamina to be able to undertake repetitive tasks including bending, pushing, and lifting

Pay:12.62 per hour
Location:Bolton
Days:Mon - Thurs,7.30 am - 4 pm &Fri,7.30 am -1 pm
Role
To off-load goods in and load finished goods for despatch. Transporting materials and parts to, from, and in-between goods-in, production areas, and despatch. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the production area and site grounds ensuring safe storage and timely removal of waste products and materials.
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of lifting, and handling machinery and vehicles to transport goods and materials around the site.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment in the yard area ensuring it is clear of obstacles, hazards, and spillage/overflow.
- Maintain a safe working environment by removing any obstacles to aisles as identified.
- Report any obstacles in the aisles and any H&S concerns identified.
- Ensure there is nothing flammable placed within 4 meters of the building.
- Make sure the area in front of any oxygen tanks is clear.
- Make sure all chemicals, gases, and liquids are stored safely and in the correct areas.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures and guidelines are followed.
- Support the business to achieve the Environmental objectives.
Key skills
- FLT Counterbalance Licence required.
- Proven experience as an FLT Driver.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
