Design & Technology (DT) Teacher - Immediate Start

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join a school with a rich history dating back to 1566. The school places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, personal development, and community values, offering students a range of enrichment opportunities alongside their academic studies.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and supporting students in developing practical skills in areas such as product design, materials, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality DT lessons.
  • Ensure that all students are engaged and challenged.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Collaborate with the department to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Design & Technology.
  • A current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the position until Christmas 2024.
