As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, working closely with teachers to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
- Support individual students or small groups in their learning activities
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Prepare and organise classroom resources and materials
- Assist in the supervision of students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips
- Support the implementation of school policies and procedures
Requirements:
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student development
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
