Job Title: Senior Resource Lead

Salary:  Circa £42,000 dependent on experience

Location: Bolton

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

You will be supporting the Resource Manager in ensuring the Manufacturing community is at the forefront of industry standards, in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive Greater Manufacturing Function environment. The team has a great mix of people, all striving to deliver functional excellence.

Your duties will include attending on behalf of the Resource Manager the monthly business units and function managers meeting to pick up points of escalation, review status on recruitment, and assist in the resolution of business unit personnel issues.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Excellent Office competencies (Excel & Word)
  • Ability to analyse data to extract information.
  • External benchmarking to stay expert in the recruitment field.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of Resource and recruitment, MBDA's product range, and associated Methods of how we work,
  • An ability to effectively communicate to (both verbally and in writing), influence and negotiate with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Business Units, Training Department, etc.)
  • An ability to form strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with those in similar roles within the Greater Manufacturing Function to ensure a parity of approach
  • Robust planning and organisational skills; the ability to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to ensure delivery of objectives.
