Our client, based in Bolton, is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC to cover a maternity leave.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with a salary of up to £35k and a hybrid working model.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR administration and good employment law knowledge.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Acting as the primary contact for staff enquiries, delivering prompt and accurate information on HR policies and procedures
- Supporting the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and onboarding new hires
- Supporting compliance with employment laws and company standards across all HR functions
- Assisting in the development, rollout, and communication of HR policies and initiatives
- Maintaining employee records, updating the HR database, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
- Providing administrative assistance to the Group HR Director, contributing to projects and process improvements
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- A good understanding of HR practices, employment law, and data protection
- Previous experience in a HR administrative or officer role
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail
- A solution-focused approach with a willingness to learn
