This is an ideal role for someone with a solid grounding in employee relations, looking to take the lead on casework, policy development, and engagement initiatives.

The Role:

You'll act as a trusted HR partner across the organisation, providing expert support on employee relations, performance management, and workforce development. This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll influence both day-to-day operations and longer-term HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support line managers on ER matters including conduct, capability, and absence cases
  • Conduct thorough investigations and ensure fair outcomes in line with policy and legislation
  • Lead on the annual review and appraisal process, ensuring clear development plans are in place
  • Deliver workshops and coaching sessions to upskill managers in handling people matters
  • Monitor ER trends and recommend practical improvements to policies or ways of working
  • Support wider HR initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Keep policies and processes up to date with current employment law and best practice

About You:

  • Proven experience in an advisory or generalist HR role with a strong focus on employee relations
  • Confident managing complex casework and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Skilled communicator with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working autonomously and part of a wider HR team
