A newly created role is available for a Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Lead to join a forward-thinking eCommerce team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a candidate who is passionate about data, digital user experience, and is eager to thrive within the fast-paced eCommerce environment.

The CRO Lead will work closely with the Head of Online Trade and the broader eCommerce/CRO team, managing the day-to-day execution of conversion rate optimisation initiatives. This individual will analyse testing results and research data to identify new testing opportunities. The role will focus on improving the user experience across two websites and driving enhanced conversion rates.

CRO Lead Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement a dynamic and evolving CRO strategy to drive increased conversion rates across the websites.
  • Analyse user behaviour to extract actionable insights and communicate findings to various stakeholders across the business.
  • Utilise tools such as user recordings, heatmaps, and funnel visualisation to identify behavioural trends, working with the Design team to test new ideas.
  • Leverage CRO metrics and business insights to prioritise testing efforts effectively within the broader schedule.
  • Lead the test and learn cycle by creating and executing comprehensive design and implementation plans using internal software.
  • Collaborate with the Product team on more complex tests that require development involvement.
  • Perform ongoing competitor analysis and market research to ensure the CRO channel remains industry-leading.
  • Work closely with the CRO team to report on the outcomes of testing initiatives, continuously tracking and improving cumulative ROI.
  • Generate detailed quarterly reports on ROI for the CRO channel.

  • A passion for eCommerce, CRO and UX
  • Skilled at working with ContentSquare, AB Tasty or other CRO tools
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Hold user experience in the highest regard
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, reactive environment
  • Experience using PowerPoint to present results
