Job Title: Project Engineer - Food Location: Bolton Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing Salary: 拢42,500 - 拢48,000 Work Type: Permanent, On site Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, Days (45-hour work week)Project Engineer - Food Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with an electrical focus to manage and deliver engineering projects on time and within budget. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is preferred, as the role involves automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure successful completion.Project Engineer - Food Responsibilities: 路Stakeholder & Contractor Management: Oversee governance, budgets, and external contractors.路Operational Support: Assist with maintenance coordination and act as LV Electrical Duty Holder.路Risk & Problem-Solving: Identify risks early, mitigate issues, and drive effective solutions.路Project Delivery: Manage engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.路Documentation & Reporting: Prepare key project documents, including budgets and schedules.路Safety & Compliance: Maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout projects.Project Engineer - Food Required Attributes: 路Certifications: 18th Edition Certification required; Project Management (Prince 2, APMP) and EHS (IOSH, NEBOSH) certifications are beneficial.路Industry Experience: Background in FMCG with experience delivering multiple CAPEX projects.路Project Execution: Manage projects, analyse scope and requirements, and drive process improvements.路Desirable Skills: Civil engineering knowledge and PLC troubleshooting are advantageous.路Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC integration, and automation.路EHS & Contractor Management: Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance and oversee contractor competency.路Education & Qualifications: HNC/HND or Engineering Degree preferred; relevant experience considered.Project engineer - Food Additional info:路Holidays 28 Plus Bank Holidays Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
