Reporting to the company directors, this role combines account handling and management responsibilities while ensuring all activities align with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound telephone calls.
  • Arrange new policies, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Prepare reports, insurance documents, and presentations.
  • Oversee and manage the claims process.
  • Maintain client records and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Negotiate with underwriters for the best coverage, pricing, and levels of cover.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and customers.
  • Complete compliance tasks and ensure adherence to FCA regulations.
  • Handle workloads effectively and assist in other administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade A-C / 9-4).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering results.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Acturis insurance software.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products.
