We are currently working with a reputable, independent Chartered Commercial Insurance Broker, that are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved across all Commercial product lines and specialist schemes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess insurance claims, determining coverage and liability across a variety of commercial products including but not limited to Employers & Public Liability, Property, Fleet and Cyber.
  • Acknowledge new claims to clients and insurers, keeping clients informed throughout the process and ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and make informed decisions.
  • Negotiate with claimants, insurers, and other stakeholders to reach fair settlements.
  • Handle claims in a timely manner while adhering to FCA guidelines and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all claims, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and build strong client relationships.
  • Prepare claims reports for Account Executives, especially for larger cases.
