Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading global provider of environmental solutions a to recruit a Planning Engineer on a 12 month contract for its North East site.
The Planning Engineer role comes with 400-450 per day.
Key skills
- Develop, maintain, and update outage schedules for FGT and boiler maintenance using MS Projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure alignment with the outage plan.
- Identify critical path activities, potential delays, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Support risk management and contingency planning efforts.
- Analyse historical data to improve future outage planning efficiency.
