Our client is a well established Civil Litigation firm that continues to go from strength to strength They are currently recruiting for an Advocate Solicitor or Barrister to join their business. Experience in Housing Disrepair preferred but not essential. This role may suit a Solicitor with experience in HDR who has a keen interest in advocacy and is looking to move away from just file handling.

The role:

The Advocate Solicitor/Barrister position will see you handle the firm's advocacy requirements across the Housing Disrepair department. You will be required to attend courts across the North West. You will also be responsible for developing documentation including Particulars of Claim and advising where it may be advantageous to settle or proceed to final hearing.

Experience required:

  • Qualified Solicitor or a Barrister with strong advocacy and litigation skills ideally in HDR but this is not essential.
  • Solicitor who has a keen interest in advocacy and is looking to move away from file handling.
  • Excellent knowledge of CPR, legislation and relevant case law.

A competitive salary of up to £60k plus pension and other benefits is on offer, 25 days holiday and remote/hybrid working.
