Working Hours - Shift Engineer Rotating Panama pattern 06:00 - 18:00, 18:00 - 06:00

The role - Working as part an Engineering shift team to ensure a high level of Engineering Service to all functions.

General Skills - Shift Engineer

  • Good Engineering Knowledge gained within a Maintenance FMCG environment.
  • Self-managed and able to demonstrate a good level of performance.
  • Multi-skilled, ONC / NVQ3 or higher in Maintenance engineering.
  • Good communication and IT skills.

Key duties and Skills required - Shift Engineer

  • Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
  • Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.
  • Fully support improvement inchoatives and development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow.
  • To Ensure the achievements of the Engineering KPIs and targets are met.
  • Be part of the corrective and planned maintenance programs
  • Assist in the development, input and the fully utilisation of the CMMS program
  • Mentor and support other team members.
  • Ensure a good working relationship with production and all support functions
  • To ensure all Company procedures and rules are adhered to.
  • Health and Safety standards.
  • Food Hygiene standards.
  • To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe.
  • To establish an effective working relationship with Production and ensure regular communication and feedback
  • To identify and implement labour saving and productivity improvements in conjunction with production teams.
  • Provide engineering and technical support / training for Line Technicians
