Manufacturing Controller

Position: Manufacturing Controller

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Bolton

Rates: 15.50 per hour - rising to 16.55 per hour (PAYE)

Our client, a large Aerospace and Defence supplier is looking for a Stores Controller to join them on a contract basis at their site in Bolton.

Overview:

You will be tasked with managing the stores and inventory, issue and receipt of stock and support manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Stock control and shelf life management.
• Load manufacturing cells with jobs per schedules.
• Packing and tooling management.
• Update inventory records.
• Kitting and logistics support.

Required Skills:

• Experience in stores/manufacturing control.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Manual handling and lifting training.
• ESD training.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel and SAP.
• Forklift licence.
• Knowledge of Kanban systems.
