Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Automotive)

CRP Group is working with one of their most valued clients who is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering aspects of our automotive manufacturing processes. This critical role ensures that our vehicles are produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will oversee both the engineering design and manufacturing processes, driving innovation and operational excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities:In this position, you will spearhead the development of new automotive products from concept to launch, conducting rigorous design reviews to assess feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability.

You will identify and implement design and process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality within automotive production, leveraging best practices in agile development and continuous integration. Additionally, you will monitor team performance by setting clear expectations, conducting regular reviews, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business objectives.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities and projects specifically related to automotive manufacturing, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.

Efficient allocation of resources will be essential to maximize productivity and minimize bottlenecks in the production line. You will also participate in recruitment and hiring processes to build a strong engineering team, while managing and optimizing the budget for engineering initiatives within the automotive sector.

Skills/Competencies:The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive product design and development, along with a deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, and assembly.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software specific to automotive applications is essential, as well as a strong foundation in engineering principles like materials science and vehicle dynamics.
