Adecco are currently looking for a School Site Manger on behalf of our Educational client in Bolton.
Duties:
- Lead and manage the cleaning team to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Secure school premises by locking/unlocking entrances and exits.
- Monitor fire safety equipment and conduct fire drills.
- Provide access for community events outside school hours.
- Respond to alarm systems and undertake daily risk assessments.
- Schedule maintenance and repairs.
- Act as a key holder and attend to call-outs.
- Maintain the asset register and order necessary supplies.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks.
- Operate and maintain heating, cooling, and lighting systems.
- Manage the letting function for out-of-hours activities.
- Perform grounds maintenance and gardening tasks.
- Inspect portable electrical equipment biannually.
- Provide porterage services and assist with goods distribution.
- Ensure excellent customer service and participate in school events.
- Drive school minibuses when required.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- NVQ Level 2 in relevant discipline (Caretaking, Cleaning,) or equivalent qualification
- Health & Safety Certificate or willingness to work towards it
- Full clean driving licence (and own vehicle or access to a vehicle)
- All applicants MUST have an enhanced DBS certificate
