Marketing Assistant - Digital and Campaign
This role is based in Bolton with hybrid home working
Basic salary is up to £27,000 depending on experience, plus annual company bonus, 34 days holidays, non-contributory pension and other exceptional benefits, training, and career development.

As a Digital and Campaign Marketing Assistant, the successful candidates will demonstrate experience of working in a fast-paced marketing role with a genuine interest in building a career in a digital and campaign marketing role to become a specialist with further training and career development.
Working in the marketing department, you will be part of a team of nine where you will be responsible for updating regular marketing content in line with service level agreements by generating innovative ideas for content and liaising with your marketing colleagues, sales teams and external resources including graphic designers and PR companies.
As a Digital and Campaign Marketing Assistant, you will have experience of writing and editing digital content across the web and social media and highly competent in email marketing with knowledge of marketing automation systems such as Act-On or Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics
Candidate Skills
- You will have a proficient level of education BTEC professional diplomas / NVQ 4 / HND / Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Public Relations, Digital Media
- Experience of working in a sales and marketing environment
- Website skills and knowledge
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and internet skills
- Ability to manage data
- Any knowledge of WordPress or Webflow or Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, or Illustrator would be advantageous
- Excellent written communication skills, written and spoken
- Ability to coordinate information from various sources and good analytical skills
- Strong diligence with an ability to spot and correct errors
- Ability to prioritise your workload with excellent proof-reading skills
- Good team player, flexible and able to learn quickly
Duties
- You will design, build, and send email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated drip campaigns.
- Able to create compelling content for various platforms to engage audience segments and promote brand visibility.
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers to build a strong online community and manage SEO to increase rankings on all major search networks.
- You will oversee paid media campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring optimal ROI and engage with social media strategies that align with business goals, enhancing interaction with our target audience.
- Ability to analyse performance metrics and tweak strategies as needed.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new digital marketing tools and trends.
- Create graphics for social organic and social paid campaigns and contribute to the production of collateral documents, Q&A’s and brochures on a regular basis
- Generate data required to produce marketing documents including presentations, fact sheets, and sales aids and perform daily sales analysis, monthly and performance and asset reporting
- Update websites including the uploading of fact sheets, prices and documents
- Review websites on a regular basis to ensure that content is accurate and up to date and support the planning and analysis of marketing campaigns including database segmentation, drip campaigns, A/B testing and MI reporting
- Continually review systems, processes and data sources with a view to improving output and/or increasing efficiency
- Collaborate with the marketing team on key strategic projects and communicate effectively with the wider business
- Proof-read data & marketing materials while abiding by brand guidelines
