Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Location: North West/Nationwide role - ideally within an hour of Lancashire head office

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our growing team. As an integral part of our operations, this newly created role would see you act as the Lead Installation Engineer of a newly formed division of our company, with a view to growing into a more senior leadership role in the future if you desired. You will be responsible for the installation of air conditioning systems to blue chip commercial clients in key industries such as Defence, Banking and Data Centres. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems (split systems, VRF/VRF, close control) and associated systems.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering efficient, friendly, and professional interactions with clients on-site.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, including maintenance reports and service logs.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an air conditioning engineer in an installation role, ideally 4years+.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems, and familiarity with Mitsubishi and Daikin products would be highly advantageous
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., F-Gas, NVQ in Air Conditioning, City & Guilds).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to travel and work away when required.
  • DBS clearance of comfortable to undergo security clearance checks
