Apprentice Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing routine maintenance on machines and buildings, following a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
- Support various maintenance tasks and projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Gain hands-on experience in replacing bearings, belts, chains, and motors on large industrial machinery.
- Occasionally work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Prioritise health and safety compliance, ensuring a safety-conscious approach at all times.
Apprentice Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Previous experience in an electrical or mechanical maintenance role is desirable but not essential.
- Basic understanding of maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to replace bearings, belts, chains, and motors on large industrial machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
