Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or an FMCG professional with project leadership experience, looking to step into a Senior Project Engineer role with autonomy in a well-established food manufacturer?

Do you want to lead projects, manage teams, and drive operational improvements, with a clear pathway to progressing into a Project Manager role?


In this role, you will be you will work alongside the Engineering Manager, managing resources, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring that mechanical and electrical issues on PLCs and other automated machinery are effectively resolved.

As a go-to Project Engineer, playing a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of the site, equipment, and production processes. You will oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience in who has successfully led teams of engineers and managed end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing sites, driving continuous improvements, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture within the engineering team.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee project governance, budgets, resources, and key stakeholder management.
  • Implement preventative maintenance strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide ad hoc cover for the Maintenance Day Coordinator as required.

The Person:

  • Project management experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers and managing resources.
  • Experience with capex project delivery in an FMCG setting.
  • 18th Edition Certification.
